At thirteen, I wrote my first fantasy book: Eragon The Dragon Rider.
Yeah, same title as the movie. But I made it mine. Different twists, different world, different ending.
My crush was the first person to read it. He loved it so much he spread it around school. Soon everyone wanted to read my story.
That's when I knew writing was my gift.
Here's what I learned: it doesn't matter if someone else used the title first. If your ideas are fresh and your story hits different, people will listen.
Your voice matters. Your story deserves to be told.
