just to clarify, openrank scores only reflect if other people in the network are actively engaging with your content. it does make it slightly difficult for anyone to bootstrap reputation/scores, but that's like any other app.
i really think that channels are a great way to avoid this - you can be a part of a community where you share interests, you can particiapte, and  each of these channels should have their own ranking/spam system.

Channel rankings are definitely more interesting!

It's changing a lot these days! channel ratings are changing a lot to me. Of course, new users have entered FC and it's normal for rankings to change.

I’ve not been able to move my OpenRank score since I started tracking it :)
