I’ve been waiting for a moment like this for a long time 😄 I took a look through the source code, and honestly, what’s already been built with TS is solid. It got the product, UX, and ecosystem this far. But for the kind of Farcaster client I have in mind — fast, powerful, native, and insanely responsive — I think we can push it way further. So yeah, the mission is pretty simple: Remake + reboot the Farcaster client from the ground up with Modern C++ & QML. Native execution. GPU-driven UI. Better control over memory. Faster startup. Less framework overhead. Not just “the same client rewritten in C++”. I’m talking about a completely different architecture. I want Farcaster to feel instant, smooth, and truly native — closer to Telegram-level responsiveness.
