Our goal with Farcaster is to work with ecosystems where people are building interesting things onchain. Make it easy for Farcaster users to try them out. Make it easy for Farcaster builders to build new things. People shouldn't have to think about extensions, onramps, chains, bridging, gas, etc. Instead, it should be as easy as seeing an interesting link in a feed and clicking on it.

Didn’t even see/forgot about the faucet! Ya I think the social graph reputation is what stops bad actors. Request can only be approved by a highly reputable person and the request can only be made by someone with a minimum reputation Amounts will be so low that it won’t be worth accumulating (it costs the dust to send it to a parent wallet).

I see it as a public good. The total amount of each token is so small that I bet FC ppl would chip in Like $500 with $0.05 of gas would go far. The real process part is ensuring approvals happen from ppl with high reputations This can be solved with the social graph
