Crypto Company Accidentally Shares Malicious Link for Radiant Hack Victims
Crypto company Ancilia mistakenly posted a link to a wallet drainer in an attempt to help users who lost funds due to a $52 million hack of the Radiant Capital protocol. Users quickly revoked permissions to prevent funds from being stolen, but the link from Ancilia led to a malicious resource that could empty their wallets. Ancilia later removed the post.
The hack occurred due to a change in smart contracts on the BNB Smart Chain and Arbitrum, which allowed hackers to steal $51.5 million. Radiant is actively working with security companies to fix the problem.
