4. I predict that not only Web3 users but also those who exclusively use centralized exchanges (CEX) or are unfamiliar with Web3 will start using BOB. Many Bitcoin maximalists buy BTC on CEX and transfer it to personal wallets via the Lightning Network. However, while the Lightning Network is fast and low-cost, it is not particularly user-friendly. If CEXs recognize BOB’s BTC as native BTC, I anticipate they might add BOB as a withdrawal network. The fees generated from this could be enormous and significantly contribute to BOB’s revenue. 5. Lastly, users who discover BOB even now will likely be sailing on yachts and sipping champagne.

Why I am bullish on build_on_bitcoin If BOB successfully onboards its trust-minimized bridge using BitVM to the mainnet, BOB’s BTC will become native BTC. I believe the impact of this will be tremendous for the following reasons: 1. Numerous networks (Solana, Sui, BSC, etc.) will likely use BOB to secure BTC liquidity. The resulting BTCfi fees from these networks will flow back to BOB. 2. BOB operates in an EVM environment, which makes it extremely easy for developers and users to build and utilize traditional DeFi products. The fees generated from this activity will also benefit BOB. 3. BOB serves as both a layer and a bridge. A quick look into the revenue generated by successful bridges will show how lucrative this can be.
