U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Gerrie George Jeffries was killed in action on February 24, 1968 in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam. Gerrie was 19 years old and from Boyne Falls, Michigan. E Company, 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines. Remember Gerrie today.
