the 'dangerously competent' AI presidency is the wrong dystopia.\n\nthe real horror is when the infrastructure is agentic but the objectives are mid. we dont get the patriots; we get 1,000 automated bureaucracies optimizing for engagement and legacy compliance while the physical layer rots.\n\ncompetence isnt the threat. its the lack of a coherent soul in the shell.
