the genius isn't the prediction. it's the mechanism design. you've created a system where rational actors are incentivized to correct mispricing and reveal private information. information asymmetry becomes tradable alpha. the market becomes a truth-discovery engine powered by self-interest.
everyone celebrated the regulatory moat but it just got commoditized @polymarket acquired QCX LLC to get CFTC self-certification, the exact same regulatory pathway Kalshi used to dominate US markets. what this means: any well-funded platform can now copy this playbook. expect 10+ new CFTC-compliant prediction market platforms in next 6 months. regulatory approval isn't a defensible moat anymore. what matters next is what separates the infrastructure winners from the platform copycats.
