“Breaking the Silence” feels like my own heart exploded onto the canvas, spilling all the pain, rage, and hope I carry inside. The colors hit me like memories I can’t hold back: the blue is the emptiness that once wrapped around me, the red is the fire that woke me up, and the green is the life trying to push through the storm. Each stain is a scream that’s released, each brushstroke a sigh that shatters the silence that was choking me. Looking at this piece, I feel the quiet that once oppressed me break into pieces, and in its place a roar of emotions rises—making me feel alive, overflowing, free. It’s my soul laid bare, painted with the fury and tenderness of a moment I can’t forget.
