Been seeing quite a bit of eco-doomerism on FC lately. I myself have long struggled with eco anxiety and it sucks to watch our own planet dying. That's mainly why I've gotten interested in DAOs and network states; our governments and institutions are impotent and rotted. People who think that voting and lobbying can fix any of this are simply delusional. We need to burn it all down and build a replacement, or at the very least an alternative. I want to get these organizations working SO BADLY. I'm tired of feeling helpless. Problem is that there's so many skills and knowledge that I lack. I know nothing of economics, political theory, sociology, governance, computer science, software dev, etc to make DAOs work. I want to help but don't know what tf I'm even doing, so I often end up paralyzed with inaction. I feel like there's so much I need to know and with so little time left. It feels overwhelming.

I vibe with you and I have many of the elements you are looking for, such as theoretical framework, socio-political toolkit, ethos proposition and a visions for structure. I just applied for an artistic research PhD with this project, and what I lack is the dev side. I’m building an informative front end for the project and a semi functional mock up to help illustrate it. Basically as I have it, in order to either burn it down or build in parallel, that which will replace the current systems will have to have its subjectivity and system depatriarchalized and complete abandonment of existing for profit in a top down system in minutest nuance, and O have a theoretical framework of my own to explain the mechanics. Care and mutual support will have to come before profit, voting power NEVER according to amount of tokens, keep DAOs small and interlock, and some bits more. Hmu any time
