Here’s a fun fact you might already know, or maybe not. London is just a single city, yet it’s the capital of England, and it has almost ten football clubs playing across the Premier League (6 teams) and the Championship (3 teams). Now imagine all of those teams competing in the same league. That would mean nearly ninety London derby matches in just one season alone. And that’s not even counting domestic cup competitions, where those teams could easily be drawn against each other again. Honestly, it’s crazy how football in London works. One city, endless derbies. 😅
