Farcaster, or any platform for that matter, needs more than just users.
A lot of people came to Farcaster as airdrop hunters. They farmed $DEGEN, $MOXIE, and other tokens, then left once the incentives dried up.
What Farcaster needs are people who are willing to make shitcasts every day, developers who build genuinely useful products, and users who are willing to pay for products and services that actually create value.
A product isn’t great simply because it has users. It becomes great when it creates real demand, delivers real utility, and builds an ecosystem strong enough to keep users, creators, and developers participating over the long term.
The real flywheel is:
Users → activity → creation → utility → economic demand → retention → more users.
That’s what makes an ecosystem sustainable.
