No bombs falling anywhere near you. Your cat is still curled up in a patch of sunlight. The morning light spills gently over the roses your mom planted in front of the house. The kids are still asleep, faces calm, breathing softly, carrying that faint scent of milk.
In a world where so many places wake up to fear, this kind of ordinary morning is a quiet miracle.
