In the past two weeks, a large-scale consumer protest has erupted in Croatia, with the public expressing their dissatisfaction with soaring prices by boycotting shopping. The action was initiated by the Facebook group "Halo, Inspektore" and supported by the European Centre of Excellence for Consumers (ECIP), receiving wide response from trade unions, political parties and consumer organizations.
