Thai Green Papaya Salad (Som Tam)
Green papaya: 1 small, shredded
Carrots: 1, grated
Cherry tomatoes: 1 cup, halved
Peanuts: 1/4 cup, crushed
Fresh cilantro: 1/4 cup, chopped
Lime juice: from 2 limes
Fish sauce: 2 tablespoons
Palm sugar: 1 tablespoon
Thai chili peppers: to taste
Instructions:
Toss shredded green papaya, grated carrots, cherry tomatoes, peanuts, and cilantro in a bowl. Mix lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar, and Thai chili peppers separately, then pour over the salad. Toss well and serve fresh.
