If we hired a Staff Onchain Engineer, what would the job description look like? This person would own end-to-end onchain responsibilities. Would you assume that includes frontend and backend support?

My gut tells me there’s circa 2021 beliefs that an onchain engineer is still smart contract focused, when I think it’s outcomes from onchain projects.

I think they should be able to architect, write and integrate contracts end to end. Especially given it’s a staff engineer and they have AI to help.

I would assume that’s purely a solidity dev for an evm company just from the title
