Somnia! It’s a cool project I’ve been following. They’re building a blockchain that’s all about speed and scale. Think of—stuff like games, social platforms, and virtual worlds can run smooth without clogging up. It’s meant to handle millions of users without breaking a sweat. ■ They have over 400k transactions per second (TPS), which is wild fast. ■ Low fees, too—I think less than a cent per transaction. ■ Sub-second finality for micro-transactions It’s built on MultiStream Consensus, which lets it process tons of data at once without slowing down. They’re also EVM-compatible, so devs can use tools they already know. Somnia’s been picking up steam. Started small but now they’re getting noticed. They’ve put up ecosystem fund—$270M from what I’ve seen—and that’s fueling their push toward a mainnet launch. They’ve teamed up with heavy hitters like Improbable and MSquared, uprising, plus others like Quickswap for fast trades and some AI avatar projects.
