are you afraid? this is one of the questions I've asked people in person lately to get straight to the point in conversations. strangely enough most are open to enthusiastically answering.

You know what AI is really good at though. Looking for *existing* drugs that might be used off label to treat rare diseases In the US, this guy Dr. David Fajgenbaum is #1 one of the most well known guys doing this work. He put his own rare disease in remission using existing meds and then opened a lab to help others “Other laboratory discovery techniques have already put drug repurposing on the map. A.I. just puts rocket boosters on that” “Many drugs do more than one thing. Their additional features sometimes get characterized as side effects. If you comb through enough drugs, you eventually find the side effect you’re looking for, and then that becomes the main effect.” https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/20/well/ai-drug-repurposing.html

just remembered @keccers.eth as me and wifey took out 6.2kg of clothes in the last 3 days! I'm so proud — all of these will be donated. yes, marcelanders, this is your reminder to take out the clothes you don't use. let the energy flow, help other people.

Hey everyone, just joined Farcaster and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Eric, I've been in crypto for 10 years and now working on a cure for stage IV cancer. A little more about me: - Ran Austin Ethereum Meetup from 2016-2018, - Contributed to a number of early L2 Ethereum projects, - Early member of Nouns DAO and built Nouns AI, - Built and sold a crypto on/offramp (now DiviSwap)., I'm currently working on Meridian Radiopharmaceuticals, which is developing the first cure for stage IV breast, lung, and prostate cancer (as well as osteosarcoma in children). When I'm not working, I enjoy powerlifting and reading the Great Books of the Western World to my daughter.
