First day at Network School. @balajis.eth explained that Network School is a product and Network State is a philosophy. If you think about the humble beginnings of an enormous institution like Harvard (started as a single school house), you can see how Network School is the logical first step. By working cooperatively with the Malaysian government, Balajis was able to turn a failed man-made ghost town into a new special financial zone. They just crossed a significant milestone of 256 long term residents. The path to 512, 1024, 2056, etc, is clear. The infrastructure exists here to support that and as it grows, more opportunities around the world will present themselves to establish similar communities within tiny countries that want to be part of this new concept that can reshape how we identify ourselves. Very much still getting oriented, but I’m writing this from the sauna outside the gym that’s literally seconds from the hotel room I’m calling home for the next month. So far so good.
