Who likes Shakespeare? I went to see Sadie Sink in Romeo & Juliet on the West End this afternoon (with my daughter who refused to be pictured, but loved it).
Sink was strong (got better as it went on imo)
Decent production and a good job of making it understandable and relatable.
Part family trip, part R&D for something I'm cooking. Always useful seeing the show, they had some sliding doors moments (playing a fragment of how it might have gone differently) which was interesting for what I'm thinking about. And accessible and broadly modernised always helpful.
What's your take on Billy Shakespeare?
