Manufacturing in the US is a joke. I picked what I thought was a US manufacturer which took me 2 months of back and forth to get a product manufactured and delivered. I gave them a deadline which they just barely shipped by. The kicker was the box came directly from China with the Chinese address - so now I theoretically can cut out the middle man entirely. Next iteration, I worked directly with a Chinese manufacturer and got the product confirmed and paid for within 2 days for 1/4 of the cost of using the American company. Total manufacturing process will only take 2 weeks. US company: 2 months lead time, 4x mark up, poor customer service Chinese company: 2 weeks lead time, 1/4 price, immediate messages + uses cute emojis Even with tariffs it’s a no brainer who is going to get more business
