...also, not sure if there's an app out there, preferably a free one, that will automatically scan a wallet's txns to accurately calculate the cost basis for each asset. If so, plz share. If not, could be a great opportunity for someone to make something extremely useful 🫡

For anyone who enjoys a good technical challenge... I spent about 5 hours trying to build a simple wallet analytics app on Caffeine, to no avail 😮💨 I just wanted to be able to plug in a wallet address, have it detect the non-dust assets, fetch real time prices, display total wallet value over time, and calculate take profit targets for each asset using a 5-yr macro fib retracement... and this is as close as I could get it 👇 I suggested that it use whatever free APIs, oracles, etc. that it needed from coinranking.com, coingecko, cmc, and all the major blockchain scanners. It kept telling me it was ready to work end to end, then flopped in testing. I couldn't get it to accurately scan the wallets token holdings or fetch current prices. I tried a dApp version too where you connect the wallet (read-only) but it had the same asset and price detection issues, even with my wallet connected. Does anyone have any suggestions? 🤷♂️
