The Layer3 project is launching its native L3 token, with a total supply of 3,333,333,333 tokens. The community allocation is set at 51% of the total supply. The Season 2 snapshot for the L3 token airdrop will occur on July 22nd, 2024. This airdrop will distribute 250,000,000 tokens to early users, community members, and participants in Seasons 1 and 2. The early users and Season 1 participants will receive a 4x allocation compared to Season 2, given the difference in participation length. The remaining 43.5% of the L3 tokens will be distributed to the Layer3 community via Layered Staking and future token distributions, as decided by the Layer3 Foundation. This staking model rewards active participants in the Layer3 ecosystem over time.
