This week on base, @Hifadhi finance we've been working on smart contracts for one of our core savings products, vunavault. Saving towards a specific goal can be hard. Vunavault empowers you to set savings goals and automate deposits all while earning yields through the ERC-4626 standard on defi protocols such as aave. Key smart contract functionality: - Set and track savings goals with target amounts and dates. - Automate regular deposits towards your savings via gelato. - Earn yields on deposits using ERC-4626 (yield-bearing vault token). - Manage funds with Aave's lending pools. This week on Base, my team and I are excited to be building Hifadhi on the Base blockchain for the @base buildathon. Hifadhi is a self-custody savings app that bridges the gap between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). By leveraging compliant stablecoins and the Base blockchain, we provide retail users with seamless access to blue-chip DeFi savings products. Our goal is to offer a simplified, gamified crypto savings experience that allows users to earn high yields while maintaining full control over their assets—without the complexities of Web3. We’re already working on the design for the landing page and have started with low-fidelity wireframes.
