It’s been 5 weeks since the @baseapp.base.eth beta launched at New Day 1. Since then, we’ve thoughtfully onboarded over 30K people. Here’s what we’ve learned so far 🧵 🧠 Key Learnings • Clear entry points for earning are critical • When people understand HOW rewards work, they engage more. • Social onboarding > wallet funding • More jargon can be killed (“slippage”, “marketcap”, etc.) • Simple, focused, and delightful mini-apps beat complex ones 👀 Behaviors We’re Seeing • Over 20% of people earn in week 1, just by making content • Posting → instant $ feels magical to people used to traditional social • Friend clusters through chat and invites lead to more engagement • AI agents + group chats unlock multiplayer magic • Social discovery is alpha.
