The most iconic landmark there is definitely the Whitby Abbey. It’s a stunning, ancient ruin perched on the East Cliff, overlooking the town and the North Sea—it’s straight out of a Gothic novel (fun fact: it even inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula!). I’d love to see your photos of it; the abbey against the skyline is always breathtaking, especially at sunset.
