The burn mechanism for @osmosis is now fully automated after completing its final manual burn from taker fees, which hit a record 1.04 million OSMO.
Here is what matters:
• The current 30 day burn rate is around 79,000 $OSMO per day
• The current emissions rate is only 9,741 OSMO per day
$OSMO supply is officially deflationary. Osmosis burns more tokens from trading activity than it emits through staking rewards or incentives.
This is one of the strongest tokenomic positions in the entire Cosmos ecosystem.
