In 1602, after the defeat at the Battle of Cornwall in the late 1500’s, Joseph Adams arrived in America as property of the English/Tudor family where my ancestors would go on to chop down massive trees so that “Great” Britain could eventually have an unstoppable Navy.
…for 150 years, now the English would have us call it “indentured servitude”, or is I like to call it slavery with extra steps.
My ancestors didn’t win their freedom until they took it.
