indeed directories/folders were always a skeuomorphism from the file cabinet era knowledge graphs alone might lean too much on the opposite side of the spectrum: too loose and fragmented across sources. there’s a sweet spot in the middle where nodes and edges in subgraphs are aggregated to have contextual meaning. the tooling isn’t there yet though. there will always be a need to have collections of collections and label/name them
