I need an Urbiter to come and fight me about their goddamn club. This screenshot is from their operator guide. In place of *actual* credible guarantees of sovereignty or privacy, users are still beholden to their service providers for their data! What the fuck! WHAT IS THE POINT

OK, I fell down this stupid rabbit hole and I'm back with more to say. Urbit is a boutique-ass OS that runs on an obscure VM that mostly runs on top of existing cloud infrastructure (!!). In order to use your fancy VM, you need to buy an ID with crypto, but if your landlord, sorry, "star" doesn't like you then 1/?

If I recall the interview with Vitalik on this correctly, he said he hasn't done it because the infra for multisigs to enter/exit validator nodes just isn't there yet. My assumption is that when someone is as rich as Vitalik, they need robust multisig security as a hedge against kidnapping / coercion

I have a Quest 2, exclusively for Supernatural (exercise app, v good) Tried some of the other stuff and it's novel, but the physicality of VR is the main differentiator. Haven't found many other games that leverage it quite so well.
