CeloHT Web3 Infrastructure for Inclusion and Real Impact CeloHT is a Web3 initiative built on the Celo blockchain, focused on delivering practical digital finance tools to underserved communities, starting in Haiti and expanding across the Caribbean and other emerging markets. The project follows a utility-first approach centered on three pillars: financial education, stable digital payments using cUSD, and community-based environmental actions such as reforestation, all recorded transparently on-chain. Using Celo’s mobile-first architecture, CeloHT enables fast, low-cost transactions via smartphones, supporting real use cases like remittances, peer-to-peer payments, and local commerce in regions with limited banking access. Education programs promote responsible blockchain use, while environmental initiatives are designed to be traceable and accountable through blockchain records.
