Seeing this whole thing play out has given me a greater level of respect for the constitution, and the three branches of government conceived by the framers. The judicial branch (and voters) have been an effective deterrent against abuse.

I think the best long term move for Ethereum is to use stablecoins to vampire attack the traditional finance system bringing more money into Ethereum while building more projects that build on ETH's value like SAI, GHO, LUSD allowing ETH to become a primary asset in DeFi.
