But when Ali picked it up, a small screen on its surface lit up, and a message appeared: "Your time has come to an end." Ali smirked, thinking it was surely a joke. But when his wristwatch began ticking strangely, he suddenly felt the air grow heavier, and the sounds around him vanished. In the blink of an eye, the city changed; the sky turned black, and the ground beneath him became soft and slippery. The device was now trembling on the ground, and Ali slowly began to fade away. When nothing of him remained, the device stopped, and a new message appeared on the screen: "Time to return."
