Upbit, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, suffered a major hack that resulted in assets worth IDR 6.3 trillion (approximately US$400 million) being transferred to foreign wallets. Security systems immediately moved funds to cold wallets, froze some assets, and temporarily shut down all transaction services.
