been playing around with amps to grow @thirdweb - this felt significant to me for a couple reasons: when I was 18 I used to build twitter meme pages one day twitter rugged and suspended all of them because one of my growth strategies was to buy retweets off other pages at scale this went against their terms of service for some reason and without communication or explanation, they closed down pages I had built with 500k+ followers. (google twitter purge) seeing an app build the same feature natively into the platform is a paradigm shift. the future of social will be letting people do and build what they want on top of the network. no arbitrary rules that put a cap on creativity. amps is cool because it a) acts as a push notification to a group of followers that we've posted b) recasts to their followers for an engagement boost not sure how long the efficacy will last, but love seeing this kind of experimentation

If you deeply care about the Solana ad, you’re focusing on the wrong thing. Crypto is obsessed with ‘sentiment.’ It’s the only industry that thinks external perception of the technology matters to its growth. Crypto isn’t uncool because of a Solana ad, it’s uncool because nobody uses it. AI was/is desperately uncool amongst most (and especially creative) people. It doesn’t stop hundreds of millions of people using chatgpt every day. Make the tech work → communicate its value → grow. Thats all that matters.

our strat is pretty simple: → build cool stuff (sometimes using Frames) and show people how we did it → post helpful guides + products in relevant channels (post the same stuff in multiple channels until we hit the audience that resonates most) → post our greatest hits (make use of our catalogue of content)

Why we're betting big on FC: → Twitter is noisy: The quality of conversation is dropping, mainly because creator monetisation is fuelling engagement farmers → Farcaster is high signal, high concentration
