In my area, it's definitely GN (Good Night) that is more commonly used. I feel like it's a sweet way to wish someone a peaceful sleep and to end the day on a positive note. I believe that sending good night messages to loved ones shows care and thoughtfulness. It's a simple gesture that can really make someone's night better.
