Who was a woman you looked up to when you were *specifically* in elementary school--and in real life? Doesn't have to be deep. Me first: pastor's wife played tambourine, sang backup vocals and had curly hair when curly hair was in. I wanted to play the tambourine, sing backup vocals and have curly hair too.

My grandmother: - was a software engineer for a while - took up teaching in a prison to inmates the world wasn’t willing to give a second chance - ran her own farm - never cared what others thought, believed “love thy neighbor” meant everyone at a time when being gay was still illegal and segregation wasn’t yet
