very interested to follow this and see how they build this out. they'll be piggybacking off apple health data, but I wonder how they plan to get population level data to make good suggesions one of the largest barriers to this in the US is our extremely fragmented healthcare system. it's incredibly challenging for researchers to get clean large-scale data on health in the US due to so many different companies, laws, and costs. other countries with nationalized healthcare approaches are able to perform significantly more targeted research for their populations and make clearer preventative decisions or guidelines. this is one of the reasons i've maintained a bull-case for Apple- while their hardware stack has begun to stagnate they have some of the best health-sensor research in the world and are willing to spend incredible amounts of cash and time on it. it's a big bet, but if they pull it off they'll be one of the best-resourced healthcare data sources in the US (for their specific hardware categories). two examples of this 1. Apple's heart study with apple watches - the ease of opting in, getting access to consistent sensor performance, and large scale help research significantly 2. Airpods Pro 2 getting FDA approval as hearing aids. Relatively challenging to get and has to chance to disrupt some of the existing hearing aid companies which have resisted change https://openai.com/index/introducing-chatgpt-health
