CBDCs may compete with Bitcoin as a digital currency alternative, particularly in countries with weak fiat systems. However, Bitcoin's decentralized nature and fixed supply give it a unique value proposition. Over the next year, CBDCs could coexist with Bitcoin, but not replace it.
