Telling your acquaintances who aren't techies that you work as a software developer: Their Response: "Oh, so you just press buttons and make the internet work, right?" Me: "That's right! I am essentially an internet whiz. I transform caffeine into code with my magic spells, such as "Stackoverflowus" and "Google-searchius." I just had a legendary battle with the enigmatic 'NullPointerException' beast, saved my code from the 'Infinite Loop' dungeon, and valiantly fought off the 'Syntax Error' dragon.
