After years of living as a digital nomad, constantly moving, changing homes, packing light… I became a minimalist out of necessity. I stopped buying things I didn’t need. If it couldn’t fit in a suitcase, it didn’t belong to me. Anyone who’s ever carried luggage up the steep, narrow stairs of an old European building with no lift knows: every extra item is a burden. But this year, life finally slowed down. I got the chance to settle in one place. And in that stability, I discovered something unexpected: the quiet joy of homemaking. These days, I skip the tech and travel aisles and wander straight into the home section: touching fabrics, comparing colours, imagining how a new lamp might warm up a room. Life isn’t about clinging to a single identity, but about being willing to grow into the next version of yourself. For now, I’ve set aside the digital nomad label. I’m enjoying a different kind of adventure: one that unfolds not on the road, but at home.❤️

My classmates were astonished when I took a 40-minute taxi ride just to have a particular egg tart, even though an average one was easily available nearby. But here’s a lesson I’ve embraced from my Italian friends: life is far too short for bad coffee or mediocre pizza. The extraordinary, whether it’s an egg tart, a perfect espresso, or a slice of cake, is always worth the journey. What holds meaning for you deserves your full dedication. Never settle, never compromise. The essence of life is in pursuing the things that awaken your spirit 💖

This year, I discovered a new way to measure time. Every time I visit my friends in the UK, I buy a lot of Yorkshire Tea and tell them, “When these teas are finished, it’ll be time for us to meet again.” 😁 In daily life, I like to listen to the needs of the objects around me: if a teacup is empty, I refill it; if the bed is messy, I make it; if today’s dumbbells and weights haven’t been shown some love, I make sure to touch them. The same applies to my work and writing: when the pen rests too long, it begs to be picked up; when an idea stirs, it demands to be put into words… Slowly, as these small demands are met, one by one, the day quietly folds into a satisfying conclusion.😌
