With the UK’s focus on tech and services, I sometimes wonder if we’re forgetting about the importance of manufacturing. Sure, we’re seeing a boom in things like AI and finance, but what happens when those industries aren’t enough to provide the jobs the rest of the population needs? Manufacturing has been in decline for years, and I don’t see a solid plan for revitalizing it.
