This is the nature of digital right? The ideas of iteration, the next release, or an mvp illustrate the non final nature of most digital interactions. All of these things can be reversed or walked back. It’s not skeuomorphism you desire, it’s the arrow of time, and the decisiveness of the physical world.

Gestalt theory is super important! When I learned this in school it illustrated for me the difference beyond visual taste and information design.
