Today China asked for bitchat to be removed from the AppStore. I love the idea of the AppStore but this is also what centralized control does that is bad. And there’s no side loading like on android.
The Chinese don’t need this app now but I presume it’s very popular in Iran (an article in January said Iran, Madagascar, Nepal, Uganda and wherever communications blackouts occur)
