Mitsukeru coded - Clipboard Address Guard update since the last drop to investors
We added support for more cryptocurrencies, made the app friendlier for new users, improved speed & reliability, and cleaned up a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff.
# New Cryptocurrency Support
- Now protects Litecoin, Dogecoin, Tron, and XRP addresses (in addition to the ones it already handled - cough, cough, I may not believe in some of this, but we got to go where users are)
- Recognizes both modern (Bech32) and older address formats where needed
# Easier to Get Started
- app can now automatically start (login item)
- welcome guide
# Better Everyday Use
- Big master switch (in Settings and the menu bar) to quickly turn protection off temporarily
- Adjustable timer (1–10 seconds) for catching "paste -> swap" substitution attacks (you can pick what feels right, defaults are sensible)
# Under the Hood improvements
- database (sqlite) won't grow indefinitely (you can also pick retention)
- export/import pinned trusted addresses in JSON
- boring stuff: build process improved, tests expanded
No app can bypass protection features. Too risk.
