There was a time in my life that I couldn't go 1 day without checking social media. Present day: - I only scroll farcaster - usage is all time low - nothing is really compelling me to change - I'm doing more productive life things (yay!) A few things i can extrapolate from this: - I prefer a more personal environment - If I'm going to spend time on social media, it's going to be positive and with friends - I'm not interested in arguing or rage bait (Twitter is a shell of its former self) Farcaster has an opportunity to target people like me. The world is getting too big. When this happens, people find comfort in more personal environments. Idk what farcaster's north star is and maybe they don't either. But maybe start with figuring out WHY people are still here and build off of that feedback. Retention and growth are built off of the backs of people who have been retained. Use their insights. Learn from them. And then recruit more of them 🔥
