When you suggest that rate hikes can be inflationary, you often encounter resistance from many individuals in the finance industry. Those who suggested that supply chains would never normalize, the Phillips curve lives and this is the 1970’s, vehemently argue that rate hikes cannot cause inflation. So wrong.
