This week in crypto felt like a proper reset button.
Kaito just kicked off phase one of their big leaderboard overhaul, tightening filters, cutting out spam, nerfing reply guy farming, and adding stronger rep thresholds so only legit creators and community members shine according to what they said. They’re splitting things into Creators (the heavy hitters) and Wider Community (up and comers still making real contributions), though I’m still not sure what that really means in practice.
In short, they are protecting the long term value of their boards while rolling out new tools like gKAITO, anti AI slop detection, and on chain activity integration down the road. Basically, it’s harder to fake influence now, and the real ones will stand out even more.
Meanwhile, ETH has been doing its thing quietly, some sideways moves, slow and steady we are heading to another ATH
For me, Kaito can only try, they can’t stop smaller accounts from winning, and I just hope they don’t fade out too soon.
