As an iOS dev I'd say record the simulator and do a voice over. Especially if you're presenting to non devs. I've realised the importance of the simulator 'feel' the hard way compared to showing it by compiling on a device.

Why's it that an engineer is always put in the bucket of tech and non product unless they give up on their dev role. Hate this in corporate America. You can and should be able to do product AND tech/code
